First of all: I HATE BLOGS. They are the height of modern day egotism - actually believing that strangers out there may actually give a fuck about what you say or do.
The purpose of this blog is to share my travels relieving me from the need to send postcards. (yes a selfish motivation triggered by laziness) My day to day life is not for display.

Hi Mash,
Aren't the cheap jeans great. I don't know how/why clothes are so much cheaper there given that the currency difference is only about 30%. It can't be tariffs or import tax because those have been cut right down in Australia. Maybe they are just gouging us in Oz because its a small remote market and they can!
On our last trip to the US, Megan bought so many clothes that we nearly ran out of cash and had to live on about $7.50 a day when we got to Thailand!
If you go to the Great Mall of Milpitas then you can pick them up ultra cheap! I believe that there is a Levis outlet in there that has jeans starting at about $20. There is also an Old Navy outlet that has a heap of cool jeans really cheap too. I bought a pair of wide-leg cut jeans there, and they rock my world.
If you don't know where the Great Mall is, just keep following Tasman east, past Cisco, over the I-880, past the prison, and it's maybe a half-mile down the road on your left hand side.
Wow! For once I said something useful rather than just giving you crap! You proud of me?
I already went last night. That is where the post came from. And yes I am proud of you.
OMG you're kidding me?! Are they any good?
